Today we live in a challenging world filled with technology and economical innovations. Education imparted in academic institutions is an effective tool to enable students to cope with the rapidly, changing world around them with knowledge and values they imbibe a culmination of which will certainly bring forth worthy human beings and leaders of tomorrow. The power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success. It contributes to nation building and reconciliation. Our own reconstruction, development and successful interaction in the global fraternity depend largely on the progress we make, in educating our children. Education is central to the success of a whole range of other human endeavours and enable young people to become adults who cherishe the values of respect for women and children.
Sports has been an integral part of our education philosophy. This belief stems from the philosophy that learning occurs both inside the classroom and outside of it. Participation in sports keeps young minds and bodies engaged positively and helps to develop sensorimotor faculties. To grow in the direction of success, one needs support and assistance, the ability to learn and the indelible passion to deliver.

Message from the Principal
Education is not a destination but a journey in itself that turns an entity into a human being which is the biggest need of the hour. The core purpose of education is to provide children with a learning environment which brings out the best in them. We believe that every child is endowed with a unique set of attributes and abilities, which needs to be nurtured so that they blossom. Therefore, every child deserves an education that fosters academic excellence and all-round development, and ensures their well-being.
We groom and nourish each child independently, for all required distinct attention. We build an atmosphere where each child explores multiple activities, and experiences challenges to find his/her own strengths. The Academy focused in establishing strong, dedicated and target-oriented teaching programmes with quality research. We are committed for the enlightenment and all-round development of our students.
About ASARTC, Ziro
Arunachal Sports Academy and Research Training Centre (ASARTC), was recognised by the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh as Arunachal Sports Academy and Research Training Centre on 9th March 2020, with its Motto **“Healthy Minds Make Healthy Body”**.
The main purpose of establishing the academy was with a vision to fulfil the educational needs, discover and showcase the inner talents of a child in the field of games and sports to the society, state, and the nation in particular. The academy is also established to nurture the young at grassroot levels.
Campus Overview
The ASARTC campus is located in **Ziro** on race course road, set up in a fresh environment, far away from town pollution at a distance of **3.5 km** from Hapoli. The peaceful surrounding and pleasant climate provide an ideal place for learning and training. The campus covers about **30,700 sq. meters** and caters to both **residential and day scholars**.
Facilities include:
- Administrative block, classrooms, separate hostels and mess for boys and girls, health centre, and library.
- Extensive indoor and outdoor playfields for football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, boxing, athletics, cycling, sepak takraw, and a multipurpose hall for yoga, gymnasium, karate, etc. (*Swimming pool is currently in process*).

Hostel and Mess
It is **mandatory** for the students of the institutes to reside in the hostels and take their meals in the mess.
A booklet containing rules and regulations regarding discipline and conduct in the Institute’s hostel and mess is given to the students at the time of admission.
*Note: The students will be provided the best nutrition diet of a sports person.
Admission Procedure
- Students seeking admission must submit the complete filled-up form along with the needful documents mentioned in the prospectus.
- Admission form & prospectus will be available at the school office and may be collected during office hours (9:30 am to 2:30 pm).
- An application folder will contain a copy of the prospectus, application form, and fee details, etc.
- Students selected for admission have to be present during admission along with parent/guardian.
- Students should produce all the relevant **original certificates** at the time of admission.
- Admissions are subject to the approval of Director/Principal and will stand final and binding. No sort of request will be entertained thereafter in any circumstances.
Payment of Fees
The provisionally selected candidates shall be required to pay the fee through **online mode as well as offline** as mentioned in the fee structure.
Attendance
- Regularity and punctuality are considered sacrosanct and absolutely mandatory.
- **80% of attendance is compulsory** to be allowed to sit in the examinations.
- Monthly attendance bulletins will be published through the school notice board and the same will be sent to the parents/guardians.
- For leave in case of emergency, prior permission from the Director/Principal is to be obtained through application with the knowledge of the parents/guardians.
Bus Service
Bus service is available for day scholar students, for which the parents/guardians of the wards are requested to enquire about the service during the time of admission.
Guidelines for Parents/Guardians
- The school authority would heartily welcome any complaint by the ward, parents/guardians in written addressing the Director/Principal.
- Annually there will be Parents-Teachers Meet for the students/wards.
- All fees or outstanding dues are to be cleared at the given time for smooth functioning of the institution.
- Parents/Guardians are not allowed to meet the students or teachers in person during class hours. In case of unavoidable circumstances, prior permission from the Director/Principal is required.
- Any damage purposely caused by the student to the school property shall be fully borne by the parents/guardian.
- Parents are allowed to meet their wards during weekends only, with proper permission.

It is **mandatory** for the students to procure uniform/sports kit from the institute, strictly as per the below mentioned specification:
